These reports are derived from Department of Labor/Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) records that provide address-employee-production data for anthracite, bituminous, sub-bituminous and lignite mining operations. The reports include mine specific statistics on employment, man-hours worked, injury counts and production. Mines with annual production of over 40,000 tons are included in the report. Additionally, a summary table displays the statistics by region and state for the full MSHA database.

Data issues available: first half of the year (January-June); preliminary annual data; and final "close-out" annual data.
