The National Mining Association (NMA) and its members are committed to the development and implementation of policies that assure the availability of reliable and affordable mineral and energy supplies required to further the well being of our fellow citizens. In the United States policies that address this complex issue must carefully balance the needs of U.S. citizens with the needs for a strong economy, social well-being, national security and a clean environment.
